Australia

World Cup Group D

The Socceroos finished top of their qualifying group to book their place in South Africa beating some decent teams along the way. Organised and motivated, there are two words which sum up the Australian team and that is their problem: Tim Cahill. It is a problem in that the team rely on him to score the goals and if opponents double mark him, then his impact will not be felt on the scoreline and it remains unclear who will do that job instead.
