Smart Wings adds Greek services for summer
Low-cost Czech airline Smart Wings has announced its summer schedule this year, with new flights from Brno, Ostrava and Prague.
A total of nine new routes from the Czech Republic to Greece and Spain will operate from the end of this month.
Three of the new services will run from Brno to the islands. Direct flights to Zakinthos and Heraklion will start later this month, with journeys to Rhodes taking off in June.
This will raise the number of nonstop destinations to and from Brno up to five, with flights to Moscow and Palma de Mallorca already in operation.
At Ostrava, direct flights to Rhodes and Heraklion will be rolled out, complementing the airline’s existing service to Palma de Mallorca.
The majority of the summer routes will be from the carrier’s main hub of Prague, where five new flights will be added: Kos, Samos, Thessaloniki, Zakinthos and the Spanish destination of Gerona.
Earlier this month, the airline announced the addition of flights from Budapest to Dubai.
