Search cheapest month
Want to know the cheapest time to fly to a destination? Search by cheapest month and we’ll help you out.
Before you start, there’s one or two things we’d like you to know about how Skyscanner works.
The first thing to know is –
Skyscanner is a flight comparison site. That means we search hundreds of airlines and travel agents, and millions of routes to find you the very best flight prices available all over the world.
The next most important thing is – it’s free!
Skyscanner is free to use. That means you don’t pay us a thing. Nothing. No extras at all. When you find a flight and click to book, you will be booking directly with the airline or travel agent you’ve selected. We give you their latest best price and (unlike some other travel sites) we don’t add anything on top so you can finish booking your flights through us instead of doing the search all over again on another site.
And we’re always updating to make sure we have the latest best prices
Skyscanner searches constantly to make sure we have the latest prices for you to compare. When you see ‘live’ under the price you know that’s the latest best price offered by the airline or travel agent.
Fares may sometimes change because of availability at the time of booking. If we think a price may have changed we’ll tell you when it was last updated. And when you click through on the ‘book’ button you can check to see if you are happy with the latest price before you buy.
And finally, when you book, you have time to check and make changes if you want
When you’ve found the best flight price and clicked on it, you will be redirected to the airline or travel agent’s booking site. Then you can check you are happy with all the details of your flight, before you make your payment directly with them. You’re not making a payment when you click the price on the Skyscanner site – you still have time to make changes!
One thing to remember – because you’re booking with the airline or travel agent directly, if you need to confirm or change your booking after you’ve bought your flights, you should contact the company you booked with directly.
