Four separate deals have been signed between Saudi Arabian Airlines and Sabre Airline Solutions, allowing the carrier to benefit from the GDS provider’s latest technology solutions.
The deals will provide the middle-eastern carrier with Sabre technological solutions, for network management, operations, ground handling and cargo revenue management, representing a big change in the airline’s organisation. The network management solutions bundle will provide Saudi Arabian Airlines with Sabre’s state-of-the-art AirFlite Planning and Scheduling Suite, as well as the Sabre AirPrice fare management system – allowing to it respond quickly to changes in market conditions.
Steve Clampett, president of airline products and solutions for Sabre Airline Solutions, said: "The airline will be receiving the exact same solutions we provide to world-leading airlines including British Airways, Air France, American Airlines, Japan Airlines and Singapore Airlines. When implementation is complete, Saudi Arabian Airlines will have the most advanced versions of these solutions in airline operations. These solutions have proven to provide measurable operational and financial improvements for our airline customers."
Khalid Almolhem, director general of Saudi Arabian Airlines, added that the deal would provide his airline with better on-time performance, more competitive fares and schedules, and an overall better passenger experience.
