Cheap flights carrier Ryanair will launch new flights to Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Faro from Liverpool as part of its winter programme.
From October, the airline will also introduce flights to Rzeszow and Bratislava from the north-west airport, while additional flights will be introduced on existing routes to Belfast, Alicante, Malaga, Riga and Wroclaw.
These services will allow Ryanair to maintain full capacity at Liverpool John Lennon over the course of the winter.
Ryanair head of advertising Dara Brady confirmed that tickets for the flights, which will remain in operation until March 30th, have now gone on sale.
"Ryanair is delighted to announce five new sun routes and increased frequencies to and from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which will allow us to bring more low fares, more competition and choice to even more UK consumers and visitors," he said.
Over the winter months, the airline will be maintaining its flights to Kaunas and Palma de Mallorca from Liverpool, ensuring that sun-seekers have a range of destinations to choose from.
European cheap flights airline Wizz Air last month introduced three weekly flights to Prague from Liverpool John Lennon.
