The carrier will offer weekly flights from Leeds Bradford Airport to the Greek island as of May 27th, 2009.
Forming part of Jet2’s summer schedule the new route will join flights to Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Rome, Jersey and Venice.
"We are dedicated to provide people living in and around Yorkshire even more choice when it comes to choosing their summer holiday destination next year," said Philip Meeson, chief executive of the airline, said.
"This announcement marks our continued commitment to listening to our customer’s needs and creating new links between Leeds Bradford International Airport and popular European destinations."
Tony Hallwood, the airport’s commercial and aviation development director, described the new cheap flight as a "perfect addition" to the West Yorkshire Terminal.
Jet2 has marked the success of this summer’s flights to Sardinia from Leeds Bradford with the announcement that the Italian destination will also be served from Edinburgh for 2009.
