Brits embarking on city breaks to Prague are benefiting from a wide ranging shopping experience.
This is according to CzechTourism, which highlighted the popularity of Parizska, the Czech capital’s most famous shopping street, among overseas visitors.
"If people want something special, they should visit some of the Czech fashion designers’ boutiques," a CzechTourism spokesman said.
"All these boutiques are near Old Town Square in the centre of Prague."
The spokesman went on to say that flights to Prague are also popular among design lovers and those interested in visiting a European-themed Christmas market.
Recent findings from Post Office Travel Services revealed that Prague is the cheapest city in Europe for Christmas shopping in shops and stores.
Items purchased in the Czech capital were found to be more than nine percent cheaper than equivalents in Paris, with particular bargain buys including jewellery and glass.
The Polish cities of Warsaw and Krakow were also found to be good value, especially as the pound now buys nearly six percent more zloty than this time last year.
