Norwegian Air Shuttle has announced that it will be adding five new routes to its winter schedule next month.
The carrier will be introducing cheap flights from Olso to other international destinations from October 29th 2008.
New routes include a service between Olso Rygge and Krakow in Poland and Berlin Schoenefeld, Germany.
Other services will see the carrier launch flights from Olso International Airport to Belgrade and also to Szczecin.
Norwegian Air Shuttle announced last month that its passenger volumes had increased since July.
Figures from the airline show that the number of passengers traveling on the airline’s routes increased by 18.4 per cent to 857,136.
International passenger traffic grew by 31 percent, while domestic traffic increased by 20 percent and domestic capacity rose by 32 percent.
Total passenger volume also grew by 28 per cent during August.
Norwegian Air Shuttle was one of two airlines recently subject to surprise inspections from the competition authorities concerning a cooperation agreement with Sterling Airlines.
