Transaero Airlines is set to launch daily flights between Moscow and Tomsk.
The carrier will introduce the new route from October 26th using a 105-seat Boeing 737 airplane which will offer business class, premium economy and tourist economy classes.
Transaero cheap flights from Moscow will depart at 22:40 local time and arrive the next day on the return leg at 09:10.
The new flights form part of the airline’s wider strategy to improve its domestic route network. International flights currently make up around 85 per cent of the carrier’s services.
Transaero’s new domestic route follows confirmation that that the carrier is to extend its agreement with bmi by increasing its services between Moscow and London Heathrow using its partner’s network of flight paths.
Passengers on bmi flights to Moscow Domodedovo Airport will also benefit from additional services launched between the two hubs that will also be introduced from October 26th.
