The airline will offer four flights a week to the Spanish city of Alicante as of September 29th.
"This announcement so soon after we commenced flying from Manchester is proof of the fantastic support we have had to date from the people of Manchester and surrounding areas," commented easyJet’s commercial manager Carly Brear.
"Alicante has proven to be a popular destination from other easyJet bases in the UK and now independent travellers from the north-west can take advantage of this new service from our Manchester base, to one of Spain’s most popular tourist destinations."
EasyJet established its new base at Manchester Airport at the start of this month with six new routes. Regular flights from the north-west’s largest terminal now operate to destinations including Tenerife, Malaga and Malta.
