Air Berlin will launch new flights to Pristina from Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich this winter.
The non-stop flights to Kosovo’s capital, which are being introduced alongside tour operator Kosova Airlines, will take effect on November 4th. Services will run twice-weekly.
Over the course of the 2009-10 winter season, Air Berlin will also operate flights to the Balkan city from Zurich, Switzerland’s commercial and cultural centre.
Germany’s second-largest airline will also launch Saturday flights to Pristina from Switzerland’s second city, Geneva.
One-way fares to the Kosovan capital start at 119 euros.
On July 2nd, Air Berlin launched flights to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport from the German capital.
The carrier operates flights to Israel’s second-largest city from Berlin-Tegel on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
There are now 68 flights to Israel operated by eight different airlines from various German cities including Frankfurt, Munich and Cologne.
In addition to its routes to major European cities, Air Berlin flies to a number of holiday destinations in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and north Africa.
