Multi-activity trips become more popular among adventure holiday trippers

Adventurous holidaymakers have become increasingly likely to embark on multi-activity trips

Adventurous holidaymakers have become increasingly likely to embark on multi-activity trips, World Expeditions has said.

The adventure travel specialist has attempted to keep up with the emerging trend by introducing a new range of itineraries, which hope to reflect people’s increasingly adventurous nature.

Brad Atwal, World Expeditions’ UK manager, said that the new multi-activity trips are centred around feedback received from customers, who have stressed the importance of variety when embarking on an adventure trip abroad.

"In particular, they told us that using different means of travel allows them to really get under the skin of a destination, providing a much more rewarding experience as a result," he commented.

Best known for trekking and climbing holidays in Nepal, World Expeditions also offers trips to the Himalaya region, Australasia and Europe.

One of this year’s new expeditions involves a camel safari through the Gobi Desert in addition to trekking previously untouched areas of the Altai mountain range.

Travellers embarking on a World Expeditions trip can choose from over 500 itineraries when booking their adventure.
