Austrian Airlines will introduce up to three flights to Belgrade per day in the new year, it has been confirmed.
The route to the Serbian capital will be expanded from January 10th, which is good news for both business and leisure passengers.
"Visitors to the city can choose between old cafes and restaurants, pulsating nightlife and waterborne nightclubs on boats alongside the banks of the River Sava," an Austrian Airlines statement said.
Flights to Belgrade will depart from the Austrian capital at 06:35, 13:25 and 22:45 (local time), touching down in Serbia at 07:40, 14:35 and 23:50 (local time) respectively.
Return flights to Vienna take off at 04:40, 08:20 and 15:20 (local time) before landing at the respective times of 06:00, 09:45 and 16:40 (local time).
Austrian Airlines said last month that the downward trend of passengers travelling on its routes was beginning to ease.
The carrier transported 4.1 percent fewer passengers in October than it did during the same month last year, which is an indication that the pace of decline is slowing.
