Monarch Airlines has been crowned ‘Best Charter Airline’ for the second successive year at the Telegraph Travel Awards earlier this week.
Britain’s biggest travel survey involved collecting responses from 25,000 readers before the results were unveiled on Tuesday (November 25th).
Commenting on the award, managing director of Monarch Airlines Tim Jeans said he was "delighted" that Telegraph readers had voted Monarch their favourite charter airline.
"Our commitment to care and service clearly resonates with them and we have yet again proved that we can deliver great value and exceptional service time after time," he said.
Monarch operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and serves over 100 destinations worldwide. The airline carries over seven million passengers a year, with services split over scheduled and charter flights.
A Daily Telegraph reader survey revealed that 71 per cent of people felt they could get better value if the booked their holiday themselves, rather than go through a tour operator.
