CityJet has been revealed as the most punctual airline operating from London City Airport during the first six months of this year.
According to flightontime.info, the carrier achieved a 90.84 percent punctuality rating on its flights to Amsterdam, while its route to Edinburgh recorded a rating of 90.17 percent.
Elsewhere, 83.82 percent of flights to Dublin were on time, as were 85.85 percent of flights to Paris.
Geoffrey O’Byrne White, CityJet’s chief executive officer, said that recognition as the capital’s most punctual business airline is "a testament to our operations at London City Airport".
"No other airline could ever claim to be number one on the four busiest, most competitive business routes out of the capital," he commented.
"We’re now London’s fastest airline operating out of the fastest airport in London."
CityJet’s overall punctuality for the period between January and June stands at 90.8 percent, with its flights to Rotterdam also performing particularly well (93.85 percent).
In April, the airline introduced flights to Nantes from London City in co-operation with Air France and VLM Airlines.
