If you’re in to heavy metal then visit the VII Gaia Em Peso Fest at the end of October, or go in December to see arts and crafts from all over Portugal in the Fiera do Artesanato do Porto. With sun and blue skies, Barcelona is a great pre-winter destination. You can still stroll around the Fira de Santa Llúcia festive market without a coat!
