Middle Eastern carrier Air Arabia will launch flights to Kiev later this year.
The airline will add flights to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Ukraine in October.
The new flights are part of Air Arabia’s ongoing expansion in Eastern Europe with flights to Istanbul and Yerevan in Armenia already available.
Commenting on the new service, A.K. Nizar, head of commercial development at Air Arabia, said: "Ukraine is one of the fastest growing economies in Eastern Europe, and there is considerable passenger traffic between the country and the Middle East, particularly for tourism and business.
"We look forward to introducing a non-stop service between Kiev and Sharjah in the coming months, and offering our value-for-money services to everyone seeking friendly and efficient travel between these two dynamic regions."
Kiev recently welcomed new flights to Simferopol following the launch of new cheap flights airline Wizz Air Ukraine, a subsidiary of the Polish-based carrier Wizz Air.
New flights from Kiev to Kharkov and Zaporyzhzhia will be added in September.
