JetBlue Airways has launched new flights to Kingston, Jamaica from New York's John F Kennedy International Airport.

US cheap flights carrier JetBlue Airways has launched new flights to Kingston, Jamaica from New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport.

Now the airline’s 14th international destination, the daily non-stop flights to Kingston land at the Jamaican capital’s Norman Manley International Airport.

It is JetBlue’s second route to the Caribbean island after it successfully launched flights to Montego Bay from New York.

From February 8th next year, the carrier will also introduce flights to Montego Bay from Orlando International Airport in Florida.

JetBlue Airways’ chief operating officer Rob Maruster said the airline is "proud" to be operating flights to its second Jamaican destination.

"We look forward to providing the JetBlue award winning experience while enjoying the most wonderful view of the Blue Mountains arriving into Kingston," he commented.

Aside from Jamaica, JetBlue Airways offers flights to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Costa Rica in the Carribbean amongst many others.

The airline announced on Friday (October 30th) that it will implement a 30 percent increase in departures from Boston Logan International Airport.
