JetBlue to increase number of Caribbean flights from Boston

US carrier JetBlue Airways will increase its number of flights to the Caribbean from Boston by 25 percent next summer.

From May 3rd, passengers travelling from Logan International Airport will have more options when choosing flights to Aruba, Cancun, Montego Bay and San Juan.

The news comes after JetBlue announced its intention to increase the number of departures from Boston by 30 percent over the course of next year.

This will see the airline operate 70 daily flights to 33 American destinations.

Three additional flights to Aruba will take effect next summer, in addition to two extra weekly flights to Cancun and one further flight a week to San Juan and Montego Bay.

Elsewhere, JetBlue will also offer daily flights to Bermuda and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, with both destinations expected to prove popular among holidaymakers.

Last month, the carrier secured the Best Rated Large Domestic Airline award in Zagat’s annual Airline Survey.
