More people could be encouraged to book flights to ski destinations next winter following the launch of Jet2.com’s 2009/10 ski schedule.
The cheap flights carrier is encouraging ski enthusiasts to plan ahead and book their winter trip early, with the airline offering direct flights to Chambery and Geneva from Leeds Bradford Airport and Manchester.
Jet2.com also offers flight to Chambery from Edinburgh, Newcastle and Belfast, while Geneva is additionally served by flights from Blackpool.
The flights come into effect on December 19th and run throughout the ski season.
Jet2.com chief Philip Meeson said that winter sports holidays "remain hugely popular".
"We have launched our winter schedule earlier than ever this year to ensure that the UK’s ski and snowboard fans can book their seat early, giving them plenty of time to budget and prepare for their winter break," he commented.
The cheap flights carrier will launch new flights to Tenerife from Belfast International on October 30th.
Tenerife is the largest of the Spanish Canary Islands and has long been a popular holiday destination among both couples and families.
