Cheap flights carrier Jet2.com will launch new flights to Kos, Venice and Gran Canaria from Manchester next summer.
The announcement of the new flights comes after the airline revealed that August had been its busiest ever month in terms of bookings since its establishment six years ago.
In addition, Jet2.com will increase its number of flights to Lanzarote, Dalaman, Sharm el Sheikh and Tel Aviv from Manchester in summer 2010, which will see the basing of a new 737 aircraft at the north-west airport.
Jet.com chief Philip Meeson explained that Manchester was an "extremely important base" for the carrier and that it was "committed" to offering a wide range of holiday options.
"It is fantastic to be able to offer people flying from Manchester a number of brand new holiday destinations direct from the region," he said.
"No other airline currently operates a scheduled service to Kos and Venice and we are confident that these will be extremely popular routes."
Earlier this month, the airline announced that it would introduce flights to Bergerac, Sharm el Sheikh and Corfu from Leeds Bradford as part of next year’s summer schedule.
