Cheap flights carrier Jet2.com will launch flights to Dubrovnik and Faro from Edinburgh next summer.
The airline will offer flights to the Croatian city exclusively from the Scottish capital, with the route taking effect on May 2nd.
Three flights to Faro a week will be introduced from Edinburgh on May 20th, with Jet2.com promising "friendly" flight times for holidaymakers.
Philip Meeson, Jet2.com’s boss, said that Dubrovnik and Faro are "extremely popular holiday destinations".
"We are committed to offering our passengers routes into brand new resorts not currently served by other airlines at our bases," he commented.
"We will be the only operator to offer scheduled services to Dubrovnik next summer and will offer an enhanced service into Faro."
While Faro has long been a favourite holiday destination, Dubrovnik’s popularity has really taken off in recent years thanks to its beautiful beaches, variety of bars and boutique hotels and restaurants.
Elsewhere, Jet2.com will introduce flights to Madeira from Manchester as part of next year’s summer schedule.
