Cheap flights to Bodrum will be launched by Jet2.com from Leeds Bradford Airport during summer next year.
The airline decided to implement the route after experiencing a high demand from passengers for travel to destinations outside of the eurozone.
Services, which will complement Jet2.com’s existing flights to Dalaman, will commence on June 23rd next year and will remain operational until October 2nd, with one-way tickets being priced from £69.99.
Philip Meeson, Jet2.com’s boss, said that the region’s holidaymakers have "fallen in love" with Turkey’s beaches and the country’s low cost of living.
"Dalaman has proved to be one of our most popular holiday destinations for 2010 and so we are delighted to be adding to our Turkish offering with the launch of the Bodrum flight," he commented.
Mr Meeson went on to say that Yorkshire-based holidaymakers will soon have easy access to the Aegean coast and its range of beautiful resorts.
Elsewhere, Jet2.com commenced its first service from East Midlands Airport on May 19th, from where it is operating flights to Paphos.
