Air Berlin will introduce cheap flights to Italy, Spain and Israel in the coming months after announcing major route expansion plans.
New services to Bari, Brindisi and Naples are being launched from Berlin, Dusseldorf and Hamburg, while the carrier will commence daily flights to Florence on March 28th.
In addition, Air Berlin will begin flights to Venice Marco Polo from Nuremberg in the summer, while increased services will be introduced to Olbia in Sardinia and Catania in Sicily.
New flights will also be launched to Pisa from Cologne-Bonn.
In Spain, Air Berlin will strengthen its presence by commencing flights to Valencia from Cologne-Bonn and Stuttgart, while flights to Malaga will begin from Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart.
Elsewhere, the airline will also be introducing flights to Bilbao from Dusseldorf, while NIKI, Air Berlin’s partner carrier, is offering flights to Barcelona and Jerez de la Frontera via Vienna.
Aside from Italy and Spain, Air Berlin also confirmed its intention to increase its number of non-stop flights to Berlin from Tel Aviv to nine a week.
