Europe’s largest regional airline flybe has announced that it will be introducing a new flight between Humberside and Jersey as part of its 2009 summer schedule.
The timetable will operate between May 2nd and September 19th, with tickets having already gone on sale.
The new flight will be flybe’s fourth from Jersey, with the airline having already announced that services would begin from Dundee, Inverness, Humberside and Manston in Kent.
All the flights will operate on a once-a-week basis (Saturdays).
Commenting on the new flight, Mike Rutter, flybe’s chief commercial officer, said: "Our summer schedule to the Channel Islands shows us continuing to strengthen our operations with several new routes from UK regional airports.
Flybe has launched the flights in partnership with CI Travel Group, which used to run the services on specialist charter flights.
The carrier said earlier this week that it would offer the first 200 passengers who booked seats on its new Newquay to Gatwick service a free return voucher valid for any time in summer 2010.
