Yorkshire holidaymakers will soon be able to travel on flights to Verona and Venice from Doncaster Sheffield Airport.
The airport has joined forces with Newmarket Holidays to offer a break to Lake Garda, which will also include visits to the cities in addition to Chianciano, Assisi, Rome, Florence, Siena and San Gimignano.
Flights will commence in September for people heading on the week-long holidays.
Robin Hood Airport’s marketing and communications manager Jodi Stow said the flights will provide access to "one of the most beautiful countries in the world".
"The new flights in September 2010 will give travellers in the region a fantastic chance to see the wonders of Lake Garda and all these beautiful cities, and the airport is looking forward to adding Verona and Venice to its repertoire of excellent destinations," she commented.
Passengers travelling on the new routes will also benefit from the expertise on an expert tour manager.
This summer, Flybe will launch an additional weekly flight to Jersey from Doncaster Sheffield, with four weekly services set to operate to the Channel Island destination.
