Turkish Airlines will launch new flights to Toronto, Canada’s cultural capital, from Istanbul next month.
The three-times weekly flight will come into effect on July 11th and will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
A total of 151 destinations will be offered by Turkish Airlines once the new flight is launched, with the airline due to operate from 117 different flight points.
Elsewhere, the carrier will introduce flights to Gothenburg, Sweden’s largest city, on June 29th – Turkish Airlines’ seventh new international flight launched in 2009.
Flights to Gothenburg will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The airline announced earlier this month that it would increase the number of flights leaving Istanbul to a number of cities including Peking, Shanghai, Beirut, Tunis and Skopje.
Turkish Airlines, which is Europe’s fifth-largest carrier, was established in 1933 with a fleet of five aircraft.
As well as its 115 international destinations, the airline offers 32 domestic flights within Turkey.
