Cheap flights airline easyJet will launch new flights to Rome and London from Dusseldorf next February.
The carrier’s new German location will serve Rome Fiumicino and London Gatwick, with tickets for the routes having gone on sale today (October 1st).
Chief executive officer of easyJet German Thomas Haagensen said that the flights will be a "favourable and time-saving alternative" for many European business passengers.
"By the addition of the two new destinations we are further expanding our range on the heavily-used routes and we are offering an attractive new connection for the people of Düsseldorf as well as to the passengers of our major locations Rome Fiumicino and London Gatwick," he explained.
Operating from a total of six German airports, easyJet will soon offer flights from three in the Rhine-Ruhr region after Dortmund and Cologne.
There are a total of 40 different destinations offered from all six airports.
