Flights to Paris could prove popular ahead of Salon du Chocolat

bmibaby has said that chocoholics should consider flights to Paris this October as the city hosts the Salon du Chocolat.

Cheap flights carrier bmibaby has said that chocoholics should consider flights to Paris this October as the city hosts the Salon du Chocolat.

The event, which takes place at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre between October 14th and 16th, offers visitors the opportunity of sampling a wide range of chocolate in addition to taking part in workshops such as choco-sculpture, chocolate dressed and chocolate make-up.

Paris is easily accessible from the UK, with bmibaby offering 12 weekly flights to the French capital from East Midlands Airport.

The airline said flights to Jersey would also prove appealing this autumn thanks to Tennerfest, which begins on October 1st and lasts until November 8th.

More than 110 restaurants on the Channel Island are taking part in the initiative by offering meals for just £10.

Elsewhere, people looking at city breaks may be tempted by flights to Amsterdam as the city hosts its annual Dance Event, with last year’s spectacle attracting more than 90,000 people and featuring 700 djs and acts.

Earlier this week, bmibaby announced its intention to launch eight new flights from East Midlands Airport.
