Thomas Cook Airlines will be operating cheap flights to Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Las Vegas and Mexico from Glasgow Airport this winter and next spring.
Flights to Las Vegas will launch from Scotland’s second-busiest airport on November 3rd, while services to the Mexican resort of Cancun will commence on January 2nd next year.
A new route to Punta Cana will be introduced on January 26th, while flights to Montego Bay in Jamaica will begin on March 8th.
Amanda McMillan, Glasgow Airport’s managing director, said she is "delighted" that Thomas Cook has extended options for holidaymakers this winter.
"We are particularly pleased with the services to the Caribbean, including the Jamaican resort of Montego Bay, which is a first for Scotland," she commented.
"The Caribbean is fast becoming the destination of choice for holidaying Scots and with more destinations served than ever before from Glasgow – Scotland’s long haul gateway – travellers can choose from a fantastic range of resorts."
Meanwhile, between September 14th and October 26th, Icelandair will launch an additional weekly flight to Reykjavik, a frequency that will also take effect between April 12th and June 6th.
