Flights to Gdansk to be launched by Air Berlin

Air Berlin will introduce flights to Gdansk from the German capital

Air Berlin will introduce flights to Gdansk from the German capital for the first time later this year.

Germany’s second largest airline will operate flights to the Polish seaport on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from Berlin Tegel.

Services will complement Air Berlin’s existing route to Krakow from both the capital and Dusseldorf.

Elsewhere, the carrier will launch flights to Sylt from Frankfurt, making it the only airline offering services between the two destinations.

Non-stop services to the north German island will operate each Saturday and Sunday between May 1st and October 31st, although flights will also take off on April 2nd, 7th and 9th in time for the busy Easter holiday period.

From April 1st, Air Berlin will also introduce flights to Sylt from the capital, with three weekly flights operating on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On May 1st, services from Berlin will increase to five time per week, with additional flights being launched on Mondays, Wednesdays instead of Thursdays and Saturdays.
