Cheap flights carrier Jet2.com’s 2010-11 winter schedule will include flights to Lanzarote and Tenerife, it has been confirmed.
The airline said it wants to help next year’s winter holidaymakers plan well ahead, with routes to Lanzarote operating from Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle airports.
Tenerife will be served by flights from Belfast, Blackpool, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle airports, with the majority of services commencing on November 1st.
Jet2.com boss Philip Meeson said that the carrier has responded to increased demand by launching next year’s winter schedule "as early as possible".
"Lanzarote and Tenerife are fantastic winter holiday destinations and with our great value fares, and friendly flight times they are sure to be snapped up by sun-seekers eager to get next year’s break in the diary," he commented.
The airline is placing an increasing emphasis at East Midlands Airport, where it is due to begin its first summer 2010 flights in May.
From March, the Jet2.com will double its number of flights to Tel Aviv from Manchester to a twice-weekly service, with flights taking off on Mondays and Thursdays.
