Flight passengers urged to check out Amsterdam

Cheap flights carrier bmibaby has provided people with a list of reasons why they should be looking to book a flight to Amsterdam this summer.

The airline offers flights to Amsterdam from East Midlands, Manchester and Birmingham airports, with a one-way ticket including taxes and charges costing as little as £22.99.

Holidaymakers who take advantage of the cheap flights in June could take in the Holland Festival or visit the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre, bmibaby notes.

The festival, which is the largest of its kind in the country, runs from June 4th to June 28th and acts as a platform for theatre, dance, films and art shows.

Meanwhile, the open-air theatre is described as the "perfect place to cool off" thanks to its location next to a large fountain.

An excellent spot to while away a summer afternoon, the structure is the scene of cabaret acts, drama, dance and concerts.

This week bmibaby launched a new Birmingham to Newquay route which will be open until September 20th 2009.
