Following the success of last year’s edition, the Ferrari World Finals are to be held for the second consecutive year in Valencia. On 27 and 28 November, the Italian company, which had never previously celebrated the end of the motor racing season outside Italy, returns to Valencia to contest the world finals at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Cheste.

Motor racing fans will gather at the circuit to enjoy the spectacular 599XX and F430 GT prototypes driven by Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and all the drivers who compete for ‘The Prancing Horse’ in the various racing categories.

Several races will take place on Saturday, while on Sunday the drivers will compete for the Ferrari Challenge Coppa Shell and Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli titles. Further information visit:

A Night at the Valencian Opera

The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía kicked off its 5th season on 13 November with Aida, the opera by Italian maestro Giuseppe Verdi. The audience will follow the story of Aida, an Ethiopian slave who falls in love with Radames, an Egyptian commander, against the will of her father, Amonasro, King of Ethiopia.

On top of this, Aida must also contend with the Pharaoh’s daughter, Amneris, who is also in love with the commander, and who tries to stand in their way. The protagonist becomes entangled in the struggle between love and her duty as an Ethiopian, as her love’s triumph would lead to the defeat of her beloved father.

The play, which consists of four acts, boasts a strong cast, featuring Marco Spotti, Daniela Barcellona and Marcelo Álvarez, among others. Aida will be performed on 25 and 28 of November, and 16, 19, 23 and 29 of December. Further information visit:
