Singapore Airlines is set to offer passengers a fourth daily flight to Manila from Singapore beginning on July 10th.
The addition of an extra flight, which will be operated by a Boeing 777, will increase the route’s capacity by 20 per cent.
Leaving from Singapore at 14:10 local time, the carrier’s latest flight to Manila will arrive in the Philippines at 17:45, and its executive vice president for marketing and the regions, Huang Cheng, believes the service is indicative of the growing demand for flights between the two countries.
"The frequency increase on this route underscores the strong and growing economic, business and tourism links between Singapore and the Philippines," he commented.
An extra return flight to Singapore from Manila has also been scheduled, affording passengers greater flexibility when it comes to arranging flight times.
Singapore Airlines recently announced plans to use an Airbus A380 on its Singapore to Hong Kong route from July 9th.
