People hoping to travel on their holidays using Etihad Airways have been advised to book their flights early.
According to the airline, flights to several of its destinations from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are proving extremely popular, meaning prompt action is required to avoid missing out.
"Although the start of 2009 has proved challenging for everyone in the airline industry, Etihad will be very busy during the summer months, Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ chief commercial officer, confirmed.
"We’re encouraging customers to book early to avoid the disappointment of not getting their preferred flight destinations and dates of travel."
Mr Baumgartner said a wide range of destinations were provoking interest, including those in Europe, the far east, North America and Australia.
Passengers are also encouraged to keep their travel arrangement time to a minimum by making use of Etihad Airways’ online booking facility.
The airline recently launched flights to Athens from Dubai, with an Airbus A320 commencing its service of the route from June 2nd.
