Liverpool John Lennon Airport has the cheapest airport parking in England, a new survey from Which? has revealed.
The consumer group examined parking costs at 15 of the UK’s busiest airports, with Liverpool only being beaten on on-site parking by Belfast International Airport.
Which?’s poll found that it cost just £27.99 per week to park at the on-site car park, which is just a short walk to the terminal building.
Sammy Patel, Peel Airport Group’s head of car parks business, said Liverpool John Lennon Airport attempts to "strike a balance" between value for money parking and a "more premium car parking product".
"We are naturally delighted that of those airports surveyed, this comprehensive Which? report highlights that Liverpool has the cheapest onsite airport car park in England and we aim to grow our reputation for giving our customers great value for money," he commented.
The survey also revealed that passengers driving to Heathrow are paying almost three times as much for airport parking as some airports in the north.
