EasyJet to introduce 15 new European flights this winter

easyJet will launch 15 new flights to European destinations as part of its upcoming winter schedule

Cheap flights carrier easyJet will launch 15 new flights to European destinations as part of its upcoming winter schedule.

The UK’s largest airline will operate eight of the new routes from British airports, with passengers set to benefit from a greater range of winter sun destinations.

Flights to Lanzarote from Liverpool will be introduced on November 3rd, while the airport will also accommodate a new route to Fuerteventura.

Elsewhere, flights to Sharm El Sheikh and Paphos will be launched from Luton, while a new route to Fuerteventura will operate from Stansted.

London Gatwick will host new flights to Hamburg and Porto, while French second city Lyon will be served from Edinburgh.

EasyJet chief executive Andy Harrison said the airline was "delighted" to announce the launch of the new flights.

"Times are tough for consumers, so we are proud to offer great year-round holiday opportunities in fantastic places such as Paphos, Fuerteventura and Sharm El Sheikh for incredibly low prices," he commented.

The airline announced yesterday (July 8th) its intention to introduce six-times-weekly flights to Tel Aviv from London Luton.
