The UK’s largest airline will begin services to Larnaca, Naples, Dubrovnik and Santorini between March 31st and May 3rd as part of its new summer schedule, taking the total number of easyJet destinations from Gatwick to 71.
Commenting on the new flights, David Osborne, easyJet’s regional general manager for the UK, said that the airline had "grown dramatically" from its Gatwick base.
"Today’s announcement will further strengthen our position at London Gatwick; which is our biggest single airport base," he said.
easyJet said last week that it would launch a new flight from East Midlands Airport to Nice in the south of France.
The new service will commence on April 2nd and will operate three times a week.
The airline said the move would be a "fantastic addition" to its cheap flights services from the East Midlands base.
