Eastern Airways has launched a new service to Southampton from Leeds Bradford Airport.
The new year-round flight from Leeds will depart on weekdays at 14:30 GMT and will arrive at Southampton at 15:30.
The service began operations yesterday (February 16th) and is designed to meet the flexible needs of business travellers using the route.
Chris Holliday, Eastern Airways, chief operating officer, said: "Adjusting the timing gives our passengers greater flexibility in the afternoon.
"Customer feedback is very important to us and as a result we are making this adjustment to our schedules to meet the needs of our business travellers."
The new services will complement existing flights from Leeds to Southampton, which depart at 06:50 and 17:40 GMT.
Eastern Airways was recently rated the most punctual airline to operate out of Birmingham and Newcastle airports.
According to Civil Aviation Authority figures, over 94 percent of the airline’s flights from the two airports departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled time.
