Cheap flights carrier AirAsia X will fly daily to Kuala Lumpur from Stansted from July 1st just six weeks after the route was launched.

"Over 10,000 passengers have flown so far and with AirAsia X’s ambition to continue growing frequency, this route is fast establishing itself as a leading player for flight connections between the UK, Asia and beyond," he commented.
Mr Barton added that the airline’s aim is to make the world "smaller and cheaper for everyone".
Azran Osman-Rani, AirAsia’s chief executive, said that the popularity of the flights to Kuala Lumpur is "further testament to the pent-up demand for long-haul travel".
