Cheap flights carrier bmi has announced new flights to Vienna from London Heathrow. The low-cost airliner announced the new route as part of a wider relaunch of its short-haul services from Heathrow.
Under the new provisions, Business Class will be removed in favour of a single Economy cabin on all of its flights from the airport, with enhanced services available to customers travelling with Flexible Economy tickets.
bmi’s new route from London Heathrow to Vienna will start flying from March 28th 2010, with fares available to book from today (January 18th). The route will be operated with Austrian Airlines, increasing the number of flights offered by the two airlines between the two cities to five per day.
Dominic Paul, managing director of BMI, said: "For customers just looking for the cheapest fare from London Heathrow with the benefits of a full service airline, like free hold baggage allowance and pre-flight seat assignment we offer that too on our Economy fares."
Recently, bmi Regional launched a revised schedule of flights to Brussels from East Midlands airport. The airline added a third rotation on Wednesdays and Thursdays from January 13th.
