Philippines-based cheap flights carrier Cebu Pacific will launch additional domestic and international flights to a number of destinations in preparation for a busy summer season.
Extra flights will be launched to Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh, Boracay, Busuanga and Zamboanga.
The airline will introduce four midday flights a week to Singapore from Manila on March 29th, while daily flights will be launched to Hong Kong from Cebu.
Its flight to Ho Chi Minh will also benefit from a Saturday service.
Domestically, flights to Boracay from Manila will increase to 77 times a week, while three flights will be added on the flight to Busuanga from the Philippines capital.
A daily service will be introduced on the flight to Zamboanga from Davao.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific’s vice-president for marketing and distribution, said the airline hoped "to continue stimulating air travel in these sought after destinations".
"Aside from the increased frequencies, Cebu will still offer its low fares and brand new aircraft to its passengers," she said.
"We hope that this will draw more local and foreign tourists to these areas."
The airline announced on February 18th that it had launched its new flight to Calbayog from Manila.
