Brussels Airlines is to offer flights to Bangkok following an extension of its codeshare partnership with India’s Jet Airways.
The two airlines first announced their codeshare on flights from Brussels to India last year, but have now extended the deal to include services to the Thai capital.
Direct flights to Delhi from Brussels will connect with Jet’s direct Delhi to Bangkok service.
"Up until now, people travelling from Belgium to Bangkok had no other choice than to fly via London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam or Zurich, thereby often losing precious time," Brussels said in a statement.
"This new Brussels Airlines/Jet Airways long-haul service offers them a much more comfortable alternative."
Brussels Airlines has also recently increased the number of flights to Africa it offers with a codeshare agreement with Ethiopian Airlines.
Passengers can now take daily flights from Brussels to Addis Ababa, with the option to connect with 70 domestic African routes served by Ethiopian.
