British Airways switches Toulouse and Atlanta flights to Heathrow

British Airways will launch flights to Toulouse and Atlanta from Heathrow on Sunday (March 29th).

British Airways will launch flights to Toulouse and Atlanta from Heathrow on Sunday (March 29th).

The airline is launching the short-haul and long-haul flights as part of its 2009 summer season schedule.

British Airways’ customer director Silla Maizey said she is "confident" that the routes will prove popular with customers following their move from Gatwick.

"Business users will find the flights to Toulouse now more convenient than ever and by moving our flights to Atlanta from Heathrow, our customers will have smoother connections and far better access to the rest of our global network," she said.

British Airways is initiating a series of changes to its routes this summer, including resuming flights to Riyadh and Jeddah from Sunday May 31st.

Both services will be operated from the airline’s base at Terminal 5.

The airline announced yesterday (March 25th) that it had invested £5 million in new technology to reduce delays at Heathrow caused by fog.
