Cheap flights carrier bmibaby will launch new flights to Prague from East Midlands Airport as part of its winter schedule.
The route to the Czech capital will be introduced on December 4th and will remain in operation until March 26th.
Regular flights will take off on Monday, Friday and Sunday, although extra services will be laid on over the busy Christmas season.
Bmibaby commercial director Julian Carr said he was "proud" to launch another flight from the East Midlands, with the airline now operating 16 routes from the airport.
"The new service will be launched in time for people to visit the beautiful Christmas markets that take place in the city during December," he commented.
Mr Carr added that, for people looking for "something different" on New Year’s Eve, Prague offered a host of events that would prove to be "very popular".
Elsewhere, the airline will introduce flights to the popular Portuguese holiday destination of Faro from Manchester as part of next year’s Easter schedule.
