Cheap flights carrier bmibaby will introduce new flights to Faro from Manchester as part of its Easter 2010 schedule.
Flights to the Algarve will operate three times a week, with services departing from Manchester Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The airline will be offering flights to a whole host of destinations in the period between March 28th and April 18th next year, including routes to Barcelona, Geneva and Jersey.
Bmibaby’s managing director Crawford Rix said the launch of the new timetable will allow travellers to plan ahead in addition to securing the best deals.
"We are also delighted to launch a new route from Manchester Airport to Faro," he commented.
"This is a very popular summer destination which we currently fly to from East Midlands, Birmingham and Cardiff Airport."
Mr Rix added that he believed demand for the flight would be "just as strong" from Manchester and the surrounding region.
Bmibaby launched new flights to Newquay, Britain’s surfing capital, from Birmingham last Friday (May 22nd).
