Blue Air unveils new Brussels-London route

Blue Air will begin offering new cheap flights from Brussels to London Stansted in October.

The airline is set to introduce three new weekly flights beginning with two services on Wednesdays and Sundays from October 26th.

Blue Air will then increase this to three from December 11th with an additional service on Thursday. The airline currently operates five routes between the Flemish capital and Bucharest.

These more recently announced flights will be the first route operated by the operator outside of Romania and will depart from London at 15:00 local time.

Meanwhile, the airline recently announced that it will divert all flights to Bucharest’s International Airport Aurel Vlaicu elsewhere from September 29th to October 12th due to planned maintenance work at the hub.

Services will instead arrive and depart from International Airport Henri Coanda in nearby Otopeni.

The airline has stated that check-in procedures will remain unchanged and flights will resume as normal from the Bucharest hub from October 12th.
