Belfast City Airport launches iPhone app

A new iPhone app that provides passengers with live information on arrivals and departures has been launched

A new iPhone app that provides passengers with live information on arrivals and departures has been launched by George Best Belfast City Airport.

It is the first airport in Northern Ireland to develop the app, which is designed to make passengers’ time in the airport more straightforward and hassle free.

George Best Belfast City Airport spokeswoman Ruth Morgan said that "every little helps" when it comes to making its customers’ lives easier.

"We know many of our passengers and their friends and family who may be meeting them use iPhones and will therefore appreciate having access to live flight information on the go," she commented.

"It’s the steps we take to provide excellent customer services, and the efforts we take to listen to what our passengers want, that keep people travelling through our airport."

From October 31st, regional airline Flybe will launch cheap flights to Bristol, East Midlands and Liverpool from the Northern Ireland airport.
