Ljubljana, Slovenia (from £39 return)
Kranjska Gora, Kanin or Vogel in Slovenia’s Julian Alps are all good value ski destinations. Though small compared to large resorts in France or Austria, these picturesque ski areas offer good intermediate skiing and are ideal breaks for families or romantic couples.
